A series of one-day wine tasting workshops in a really exciting Central London venue.

The One Day World Wine Tour Workshop is a relaxed day spent immersed in fine wines, in a fun environment – suitable for anyone from beginner to enthusiast. 16 wines will be tasted throughout the day, including wines with lunch.

Those of you who have been to any of my other events will know that I am far removed from a ‘wine bore’. You will  taste 16 very fine wines, and learn a lot about wine, but in a relaxed and informal way, and have a lot of fun doing it!

Included is a 3-course lunch with matching wines, which will be very welcome after a morning of wine tasting!

Topics covered:

  • 16 Fine Wines!
  • How to taste wine – The way the experts do
  • Old World vs New World styles
  • The major grape varieties, illustrated by fine wines from around the world
  • Why some wines cost more than others, and how to tell the difference
  • Wine and food matching
  • Blind tastings to test your new knowledge

As well as any other topics you want to ask about (as long as they are wine-related).

Treat yourself to a day in the company of 16 or more fine wines, with an excellent French Bistro style lunch, or ask for an open dated voucher as a gift.

Your presenter Gilbert is a fully qualified WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) tutor, but he likes to have as much fun with wine as possible, so the day is not academic, but presented in an informal and humorous style. You’ll leave with a smile on your face, plus you will know a lot more about wine than when you started!

We wanted to thank you very much for the wine tasting on Saturday. We had such a wonderful day. We loved tasting 16 high quality wines in a fun environment and we learnt so much. Thank you for sharing you vast knowledge of wine in an informative and fun way, without it being stuffy. The 3 course lunch was excellent and the venue was great too. I cannot recommend this wine tasting event enough. Worth every penny and more. We will be booking the tapas wine tasting with friends for later in the year. Thank you.
Marianna and Michael                              Just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic day yesterday; we really enjoyed it and it opened our eyes to other wines to try and enjoy. Thanks again,
Stewart and Lynne

My friends and I are still telling everyone what a great time we had at the day at Browns before Christmas. I would really love to book for my sister and my brother in law to go to the day on the 4th March, could you let me know if there are still spaces for them?
